The beating sheet consists of two fiberglass rods held together by an aluminum cross frame, and a polyamide fabric – supplied with a carrying bag.
Fully collapsible, it is ideal for capturing insects located in trees and branches.
Simply hold it at arm’s length with one hand (lightweight equipment), and use, for example, a stick (not included) to strike the area of the tree or branch where sampling is desired. This product is mainly used to collect phytophagous insects.
Thanks to its white color, insects such as beetles, ants, caterpillars, spiders, etc. are immediately visible.
Monthly or bimonthly sampling allows monitoring of developmental stages of certain species.
