The Pulsar Symbion LRF DXR50 is a multispectral binocular designed for long-range observation, combining thermal detection and high-definition digital imaging in a single device. Versatile, it allows instant switching between thermal vision and detailed color imaging for daytime use, or optimized modes for twilight and night. Its 640×480 pixel thermal sensor (12 µm pixel pitch) ensures efficient detection of heat signatures up to 2,300 m, while the 4K digital sensor delivers precise visual identification, even at long distances.
With a thermal magnification range of 4 to 32x and digital magnification from 6.5 to 26x, the DXR50 stands out for its ability to observe distant subjects with precision, while maintaining usable image quality thanks to electronic image stabilization. Its 8.8° thermal field of view supports initial detection, followed by progressive zoom for identification. The DUO multispectral mode (Picture-in-Picture) allows simultaneous display of both channels, combining thermal detection with visual detail interpretation.
The focusable 850 nm infrared illuminator, adjustable across three power levels, ensures reliable visibility in very low light conditions. The integrated laser rangefinder, with a range of up to 1,500 m, facilitates accurate distance estimation in the field. Its ergonomic design, inspired by traditional binoculars, with dual focus wheels and accessible controls, enables smooth operation, including one-handed use. Rugged (IP67), stabilized, and compatible with the Stream Vision 2 app, this binocular is particularly well suited for naturalists, especially for long-range surveys, observing discreet behavior, or inspecting hard-to-reach sites (roosts, perches, nests).
