The Leica APO-Televid 65 Spotting Scope, equipped with the ASPH. 25-50x WW zoom eyepiece, delivers impressive image clarity and sharpness that lives up to the reputation of the Leica brand. With remarkable chromatic fidelity, a perfect reproduction of contrasts and an exceptional sharpness up to the edges of the field, it is the ideal tool for ornithologists requiring both optical quality and compactness.

Thanks to its 65 mm diameter lens, the Televid 65 combines lightness and reduced dimensions, which makes it particularly suitable for prolonged outings or in difficult terrain, without compromising on brightness or observation performance. Magnesium alloy construction and rubber coating ensure remarkable robustness and strength.

The Dualfocus focusing, with its ergonomic double dial, allows a fast and ultra-precise adjustment: one dial for the rapid acquisition of the target, one second to refine the sharpness down to the smallest detail, decisive asset during the identification of species or the meticulous observation of nature.

Eye treatments

  • Apochromatic lenses (APO): Correction of chromatic aberrations at three wavelengths, which virtually eliminates all colour fringes and ensures remarkable colour neutrality even in backlight.
  • Leica High Lux Pro (HLP TM) lens system: Improves light transmission and increases contrast. This system contributes to a high image clarity and an extremely fine and natural color rendering.
  • Multilayer treatment: Each optical surface receives several antireflection layers, which allows to maximize the transmission of light, limit the light loss and obtain a bright image even in low lighting conditions.
  • Traitement AquaDura® : Ce revêtement hydrophobe unique protège les surfaces extérieures des lentilles contre l’eau, la poussière et la saleté ; il facilite également le nettoyage et prolonge la durabilité de l’optique. Les gouttes d’eau perlent et les traces sont réduites au minimum.
