1/ To have an order delivered to an address other than the billing address, follow the steps below :

  • Log in or create an account, then go to your account, “addresses” section.
  • check that 2 addresses have been created (billing and delivery). If not, you'll need to do so.
  • if you have already done so, all you need to do is create your basket and finalize your order.
  • “validate your basket
  • “Addresses”, select at the bottom ‘Invoice address differs from shipping address’.
  • you'll then see 2 tables, where you can choose the delivery address in the top table, and the billing address in the bottom one
  • all that's left is to continue and finalize your order.

2/ Site navigation

For optimal browsing on Club Biotope, we recommend the use of Internet browsers such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Firefox will also work, but some display bugs have been reported, particularly when viewing the current basket.

3/ No carrier is available, what should I do ?

  • If you have been a Club Biotope customer for several years, there may be a conflict between different delivery addresses.
  • in this case, go to “my account”, “addresses”, and delete all existing addresses
  • then create a new one in the order process
  • if the problem is not solved, it means that your account dates back to before 2017. In this case, please contact us!

4/ I haven't received my password by e-mail, even though I've asked for it to be reset. What should I do ?

  • First of all, please make sure that you have created an account with us. If this is not the case and you have placed your order as a guest, it is normal that you cannot receive a password. In this case, please contact us to create your account.
  • If you are sure that you have created an account with us, it is possible that the reset e-mail has been sent to your spam folder. Or it may take several minutes for the reset e-mail to arrive, depending on the server.
  • Please do not hesitate to contact us if the problem remains unresolved.

5/ About our packaging

  • All our shipments are made in recyclable cardboard packaging, most of which is already 70% recycled.
  • The scotch tape we use is made of Kraft paper and natural rubber glue.
  • For our standard shipments, following numerous negative customer experiences, we are obliged to use bubble wrap to prevent books from being damaged in transit.
  • For our bulky shipments, we add particulate “chips” made from 100% recycled paper to cushion the entire order.

6/ Quotations

  • It is possible to create a quotation for structures paying by administrative payment. To do this, first create an account.
  • Then create a basket with the desired items, and select “order”.
  • Check delivery/billing addresses (important).
  • In the “delivery method” section, select “request a quote” (you can leave us a message in the box provided).
  • At the payment stage, select “request a quote” and accept the general terms and conditions of sale.
  • Select “order”.
  • You will receive a quotation within 24/48 hours at the e-mail address you provided when creating your account.

Nothing could be simpler: you can make a request via the “contact” form.

8/ Product availability

As a rule (error is human), the products in stock in our online store are actually in stock.
Stocks are checked daily to guarantee maximum reliability.

  • Products on pre-order are clearly identified in the title and body of the article, and their availability date is adjusted as and when necessary.
  • Products “in stock” which have a delivery delay are indicated on the item page (e.g.: allow 10 days for delivery).

9/ Reading e-book files

Our e-books can be read on a reading device (Kobo, Kindle for example), which is ideal for reading comfort.

Bear in mind, however, that these freeware programs are not up to the task of reading a book, and that depending on your PC configuration, they may or may not perform as well.
For use on cell phones, there are numerous reading applications available on Android and Apple - some of them free.

10/ Loyalty points

LOYALTY/REWARDS PROGRAM

Anyone who has created an account will have access to loyalty points for each Biotope book purchased (5% of the total amount including VAT), unless the item selected is already subject to an initial discount.

Books/software/hardware that are not part of Editions Biotope will not give access to loyalty points.

Books from Editions Biotope that give access to loyalty points have an insert on their item sheet of the type :

Other articles will not have this mention.

These loyalty points can be converted into a discount voucher 14 days after the order has been delivered (legal retraction period), and will be available in the customer account (usable on the entire Club Biotope catalog).

Loyalty points are valid for one year (1 year).
