You can listen to and record bat echolocations, then study each recording using the built-in spectrogram. And, like the PRO model, the Echo Meter Touch 2 shows you the most likely bat species recognised in the recordings. You can learn more about each species and share your recordings with other citizen scientists.
These new EMT2 modules for Android are built with a USB-C port, they have the same recording capabilities and audio quality as the previous modules, but the inclusion of a USB-C port allows them to connect to most new Android devices without the use of an adapter.
If you want to connect an EMT2 Android module with a USB-C port to an older Android device with a micro-USB port, you'll need an "OTG compatible" USB adapter with a USB-C port and a micro-USB port.
