The BirdMic PRO is a complete kit designed for birdwatching enthusiasts, naturalists, and nature sound professionals who want to listen to, amplify, and record bird songs and other wildlife sounds with professional-quality results. It features an ultra-low-noise PRIMO EM272Z1 omnidirectional capsule (14 dBA) and covers a wide frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, ideal for capturing vocalizations above 1.5 kHz, the range where most bird songs occur. Compact and lightweight (25 cm diameter parabolic dish), it is very easy to use and includes everything needed for high-fidelity recordings, whether you’re out in the field with a smartphone, a camera, or a field recorder.
The self-powered audio interface allows for autonomous use in listening mode only, without any connected device, and offers real-time sound control through two built-in filters: Low Frequency Cut, to reduce unwanted low noise (wind, traffic), and Boost, to enhance faint sounds. Its matte green, anti-reflective parabolic dish is discreet and stable, making it easier to approach shy birds while remaining easy to carry in a field bag.
