The Batlogger A+ from Elekon allows real-time and full-spectrum (full spectrum) bat ultrasound to be recorded on a Micro SD card. The recording system is very sensitive and has various functions and trigger parameters.
This device is made to be easily placed in any environment for a few days. With its small dimensions (113 101 80 mm), it is discreet and thanks to its waterproof housing, it can be hidden easily. The BATLOGGER A+ uses a rechargeable battery with a recording time of up to 70 hours.
This Batlogger A+ comes with a black FG microphone, a 2 m cable, a 16 GB micro SD card, a 7.2V Li-ion battery, and its charger.
All relevant data are recorded automatically: ultrasonic calls (10-150 kHz), temperature, recording parameters (timestamp, trigger, ...). Storage on Micro SD allows them to be subsequently consulted and evaluated on a computer. The ultrasound microphone is currently one of the most sensitive on the market.
The Batlogger A+ is waterproof and dustproof (IP67 standard), except for the microphone capsule.
It is compatible with the free analysis software of Elekon BatExplorer (Windows - see download section) or WSL’s BatScope (Mac - available HERE). This will allow you to organize your recordings, analyze and classify them, take advantage of the automatic detection of bat calls with a species suggestion.
The complete manual is in English, but there is also a quick start manual in French (see download section).
Complete pack available with a second 7.2V battery and a second 32GB micro SD to gain autonomy and allow you to continue your recordings while analyzing your first data, as well as with the security kit (metal plate + lock) for the Batlogger A+.
