The Primo EM272Z1 capsule is an ultra-low noise, omnidirectional electret micro-capsule designed to capture faint and subtle sounds in the environment. Thanks to its high sensitivity and very low self-noise, it is especially well-suited for recording nocturnal bird migration: it effectively picks up flight calls even at long distances or in challenging acoustic conditions. This capsule is a reference choice for passive acoustic monitoring devices used in nocturnal migration studies.
We also offer ready-to-use models HERE.
