A book of 1548 pages and more than 3000 photographs, with a high level of detail that includes even the rarest and most recently described species.

The taxon sheets include detailed descriptions, flowering, habitat and distribution, as well as detailed identification keys for endemic genera.

It also includes interesting chapters on the history of botany on the islands, geology, climate, biogeography, phytosociology... in a comprehensive introduction.
