Taïga

From Norway to Eastern Siberia stretches the taiga, this huge coniferous forest covered with snow for much of the year. To meet its typical fauna and especially the great mammals of Europe like the Bear, the Elan or the Wolf is a matter of patience.
These animals find in this ecosystem, sparsely populated by man, the great zones of tranquility that they need.
While the forest is a world of silence in the winter, it is enchanted in the summer season by the songs of diving, wild swans or cranes.

The book summarizes 10 years of work to discover in depth the discrete world of taiga. Throughout the seasons and the sweet variations of colors, the beautiful part is given to the great animals emblematic of the boreal forest. Bears, wolves, wolverines, or elks or tetras tread the paper and are the centerpieces of beautiful adventures experienced and recounted by the authors.
The scientific and naturalistic approach is of course not forgotten. The most up-to-date knowledge of the functioning of this ecosystem accompanies the illustrations.
