Un grand format, des couleurs, et la difficulté de faire aprécier des insectes qui commencent leur présence dans le livre par les dommages qu'ils causent. C'est pour finir sur une bonne impression ensuite ? Malgré un discours très vrai sur le fait que les infestations sont souvent l'objet du contrôle de l'homme sur une nature utilisée comme un outil productif, le début du livre est plutôt anxiogène. N'hésitez pas à accélérer un peu sur l'inventaire du début, pour vous attarder sur nombreux les passages qui expliquent pourquoi la forêt à tellement besoin des insectes pour vivre en bonne santé. Et nous aussi !
